Jonathan Hall Named Registrar of the Brooklyn Chapter of the
American Guild of Organists
Jonathan Hall has been named Registrar of the Brooklyn Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.  This assignment followed the resignation, this spring, of long-time Registrar and Past Dean George Mathison.

Hall, who is a Fellow of the AGO, has given considerable service to the Guild in past years.  He was Board Member, Secretary, and Newsletter Editor of the Chicago Chapter, and turned down the position of Sub-Dean in order to attend Indiana University.  (He also declined to be Secretary of the Chicago/Midwest OHS Chapter, with regret.)

In the Bloomington, Indiana Chapter, he chose to focus again on the Newsletter though, again, he was offered the position of Sub-Dean.  Subsequently, for two years, Hall served with great distinction as the Newsletter Editor of the New York City Chapter, and since last fall, he has taken care of this important function for the Brooklyn Chapter, which along with the Queens and NYC Chapters represents the organist community of New York City.

Organists in the Greater New York area, and particularly in the County of Kings, are warmly invited to consider beginning or continuing their membership in the American Guild of Organists in a wonderful, warm chapter.  Please send email via this website to Dr. Hall and he will be in contact with you promptly.
