Opening Picnic,
Saint John's Episcopal Church, Park Slope
Sunday afternoon, September 19 2004
We kicked off our new season with a pleasant outdoor picnic on the grounds of St. John's Church on St. John's Place, Park Slope, Brooklyn.  Surrounded by the most beautiful brownstones in the city, on shady 19th-century streets full of gaslights and wrought iron, we enjoyed host Brian McAnuff's hospitality and his generosity in demonstrating the organ and harpsichord he oversees in this beautiful historic church.
A highlight of the day was Joe Carson, looking as if he's never been sick a day in his life!

Bathed in the gorgeous blue of the stained glass, host Brian McAnuff and new chapter member Tim Chun enjoy the organ.
Welcome, Tim!
