BROOKLYN NY, June 2009--Jonathan B. Hall, DMus, FAGO, ChM, concluded three
successful terms as the Dean of the AGO Chapter in New York City's largest borough.

Hall joined the Brooklyn Chapter as a dual member in 2003, and immediately became
Newsletter Editor, a job he had previously performed with distinction in the New York
City Chapter, which is chartered to serve Staten Island, the Bronx, and Manhattan.

He went on to hold the jobs of Webmaster, Registrar, and Sub-Dean before
"ascending" to the Deanship after Don Barnum in 2006.

At the dinner--held with great success at Eamonn Doran's in the Heights--Hall was
presented with a Past Dean's lapel pin, which he wears proudly.

The very capable team of Gregory Eaton and Raymond Trapp now lead the Chapter
as Dean and Sub-Dean. They are to be wished every possible success in continuing
to grow a truly remarkable artistic community in the County of Kings.

A native of the Gramercy Park section of Manhattan, Hall lived for a number of years
in Brooklyn, and now serves as Music Director of Union Temple, on Grand Army
Plaza. He is a member of the Chapter's executive board, and looks forward to many
more years of service and professional activity in his "homeland" of New York City.
He also looks forward to continued service to the American Guild of Organists, an
organization in which he believes passionately.
