Jonathan Hall Awarded Foundation Grant
for Book on Calvin Hampton
MARCH 30, 2005.  Jonathan Hall, who has been developing his doctoral dissertation into a biography on New York organist Calvin Hampton (1938-1984), has been awarded a grant from the Ruth and Clarence Mader Foundation to assist him in his work.

The Foundation, overseen by Dr. Orpha Ochse and other leading scholars in the field, selects award winners annually from a pool of applicants.  Grateful acknowledgement is made to them for their terrific support.

Hall's book is due to be published later in 2005.
