Didelphis Virginiana

There’s a Didelphis Virginiana rummaging in the backyard. The Algonquin name for this somewhat anti-social beast is Opossum. Comes out every evening at dusk and forages in a crepuscular way. North America’s only marsupial. Our strapping specimen of Felis domesticus isn’t interested in it at all.
