Our Piece of the Adirondacks...
On New Year's Day, 2005, we drove upstate, stopping in to see friends in Albany and then proceeding on to Little Falls, a former industrial town on the Mohawk River.  While there, we also stopped in at a realtor's office in Dolgeville, a tiny town on the border of Herkimer and Fulton Counties, and home to a wonderful antique mall and candy kitchen.

Said realtor took us up still farther, to Salisbury, where we saw a little piece of land for sale at a price we could afford.  Life is too short not to hang up your hummingbird feeders somewhere, so we made it ours.
