and teacher in the Metro-New York area. Dr. Hall is the Music Director of
Central Presbyterian Church of Montclair, NJ, and teaches at the
Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development of New
York University.
This site (perpetually in progress, like the Cathedral of St. John the
Divine) contains information about Jonathan's life and background, as
well as his activities in the fields of sacred and classical music, writing
and scholarship, and teaching. You can also learn about his involvement
and leadership in various organizations, including the American Guild of
